Using the standard three pinned British style plugs electricity is run on a 220 – 240 volt current. The round European two-prong plug can also be bought with some electrical goods, some electrical outlets also stock adapters for both European and British standard plug.

Bottled water is recommended for drinking. Tap water is safe but the taste and quality are not very good.
